From the 3rd level of the four-level mall, you can head to the west wing and find yourself at the Sky Garden, SM's Lanang Premier's "hang out central". There are several restaurants, bars and cafe laid out on a tropical setting punctuated by fountains and gardens overlooking the bustling JP Laurel Street. On a scorching sunny afternoon, the place feels like an oasis of calm (3 PM is, after all, a dead hour). Since I've had my late lunch already, I decided to try something sweet from Toryano's Chicken Haus. I wasn't disappointed. Their affordable Buko Salad (coconut salad) is to die for, you can practically taste every condiment. each one fresh and ultimately well chilled.
The place comes alive when the sun starts to set. There are several options for dining: Army Navy, Pizza Hut, BluGre Coffee, Ineng's, Marina Tuna, Gilligan's, Toryano's Chicken Haus, etc. The way down the sky walk is a sloping rampway to the side of the establishment so persons with disabilities could have an easier access (no escalators) to the open parking or taxi bay down below.
The mall is located in the district of Lanang just along JP Laurel Street.
